Please note this is a two session course. This is recommended for teachers new to Canyons District, but will benefit all teachers. A.S.P.E.N. is a program created by educators, Dr. Ben Springer and Dr. Ben Belnap, for educators. The content is derived from current best practices, evidence based practices, and a survey of available programs addressing aggressive behaviors in the school setting. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of the coercion cycle, flow theory, RICH IEPs, and ABC data. Highly recommended for 1st year and new to the district teachers.
