AI and I: Exploring Generative AI for K-12 Education (Part 1)

Join us for a hands-on workshop designed to provide opportunities for educators to gain experience with generative AI and to learn about how you can earn a $200 grant by utilizing AI in your classroom. In this interactive session, educators will explore the fundamentals of AI, build a common language for discussing its applications, and gain practical experience with a variety of AI tools. Participants will explore the workings of generative AI, address crucial safety and ethical considerations, and discover innovative ways to enhance teaching and learning experiences. Attendees will develop the confidence to leverage AI in their instructional practices. This will be Part 1 of an overall overview of AI.

Learn how you can use AI and specifically MagicSchool to get your days, nights, and weekends back as a special educator to support paperwork and compliance, as well as truly being able to personalize supports and accommodations for students. This session will build on the previous AI session to get more specific with utilizing a specifc AI tool, MagicSchool, in special education.
